Review & Scotch Suggestions: Sinclair (Acquisition 0.5) by Celia Aaron

About Sinclair…

Sinclair Vinemont, an impeccable parish prosecutor, conducts his duties the same way he conducts his life–every move calculated, every outcome assured. When he sees something he wants, he takes it. When he finds a hint of weakness, he capitalizes. But what happens when he sees Stella Rousseau for the very first time?

Sinclair is a prologue to The Acquisition Series and is told entirely from Sinclair Vinemont’s point of view. It can be read in one sitting.

When I heard that Celia was giving us ravenous readers a prologue to the Acquisition Series, I was thrilled. I mean, getting a little gimps inside Sinclair Vinemont’s head sounded thrilling. Confession: Counselor was perfect and I wouldn’t want it changed for anything but I did wonder what Sin did in all his free time. I mean, he’s one seriously tormented and sexy guy. And when a guy’s that hot and conflicted, he needs to blow off steam pretty regularly right? Right! And how better to stay primed for some delectable depravity than a quick spa/workout sesh @the office? Maybe?

Thankfully, there’s none of that BS goin’ on in this sweet little taste of a story. In fact, Celia does us fans a solid and gets right to bidnesss with telling us Sin’s innermost thoughts about Stella, her POS father and what the Acquisiton is really about—lemme tell ya, Sinclair doesn’t disappoint.

He had me all…

…as only SV and his whiplash inducing inner monologue can. But hey, I’m not mad at him. He is still and will forever be my Boo.

And because Sinclair was such a quick and dirty read, I didn’t even have time to sufficiently thirst. So instead of creating a cocktail specifically for Sin, I’m going to share a link to an article that is really awesome. #Smutaholics, I present to you 15 scotches that should be on every whiskey lovers bucket list—via COOL MATERIAL. Cheers!
