Review &Cocktail: Celia Aaron’s Cash Remington and the Rum Run

About Cash Remington and the Rum Run…

I plunder the sea, steal what I can, and never look back. It’s a pirate captain’s life for me. When my crew and I discover a destroyed ship floating on the endless waves, we scavenge it for every scrap of cloth and every morsel of food. Inside, I find a treasure—gold, gems, and a girl. I’ll ravage the girl, spend the gold, and use the gem to buy the ship of my dreams—the Gloomy Lotus. At least that’s the plan—until the Kraken, a whirlpool, and a six-headed beast attack my ship. Despite the danger, I still intend to have my way with the girl. Nothing can stop me. I’m Cash Remington, and I take what I want.

Content Warning: This swashbuckling standalone tale stars an alpha male who takes what he wants. It’s full of sex and violence. It’s an erotic adventure, not a romance, and is not “safe.” If you’re cool with these caveats, enjoy

Well blow me well, and smack me arse, Celia’s done it again!! I wasn’t sure how she was going to progress her Sexy Dreadful Series But I LOVE where she’s going with it. HOLY SHIT! I mean he was great as a CIA agent,  but could Cash Remignton be any more bloomin’ perfect then as a f*cking pirate?!?  PERFECT.

The story starts with Captain Cash and his crew sailing upon a shipwreck that looks very suspicious. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to take what he wants, Cash and his men row their scurvy asses to the wreck to investigate. Cash stumbles upon an ethereal maiden in distress, some treasure and…

The encounter with the Kraken leaves Cash with an itch that needs scratching, and he heads to his quarters to interrogate his new wet ward about her treasure…

“Don’t look at me like that.” She pulls the sheet to her neck. ” Like what?’ I set the gem on the small table in my cabin and pull my pants up. “Like that. Like you want to—” “Like I want to lick you c*nt, f*ck you silly and then take your ass?”

And from there The Rum Run only gets better and better. There’s plenty of sea faring action to get you wet, *wagging eyebrows, and eager as you plunder the pages of this spicy little story.

There’s sea monsters, mythology, and plenty o’ Celia’s amazing signature banter that’ll have you on the edge of your chair whilst laughing your ass off. Thank you Celia. I eagerly await the next one.

And what conCOCKtion did I make to accompany me during this amazing adventure? Smutaholics, I’m warning you…beware the

Cocktail: Kraken & Coke

6 oz. Kraken Black Spiced Rum, of course it’s rum. It doesn’t get any more pirate-y than rum and OMG is this stuff amazing. It’s robust, full of flavor and it’s got wicked awesome packaging. Obvs it was a no brainer to use Kraken rum for this cocktail, but don’t be fooled. This shit’s not a novelty. It’s freaking awesome. And you can drink it neat, like a good scotch, or mix it. It’s deliciously versatile.

6-8 oz. of Cola. I prefer Coke, but please feel free to choose your own flavor.

Fresh lime wedge for squeezing. A rum and coke isn’t a rum and coke without a lime. PERIOD.

In a tall tumbler or glass with ice, first pour in the Kraken. It’s so dark, it almost looks like squid ink but it’s way more delicious. Yes, I’ve had squid ink and yes Rum’s better. Then add as much coke as you like/need. I like a a heavy splash myself. I mean, Krakens need a bit of liquid to be comfortable right? Then squeeze the lime in. Lime brightens this drink up and it also wards off scurvy so it’s a perfect addition to this swashbuckling swill.

Firstly, sit your ass down, and take a slow and steady sip of your Kraken and Coke. Then open your copy Cash Reminton and the Rum Run, focus on the steady horizon of the text and let yourself be swept away. And lastly, enjoy the ride. Cheers!
