Review & Cocktail: The Original Sinners Series by Tiffany Reisz

Via Mistress Reisz: Stories in Chronological Order…

The full-length Original Sinners novels are, in order:

The Red Years: 1) The Siren 2) The Angel 3) The Prince 4) The Mistress

The White Years: 5) The Saint 6) The King 7) The Virgin 8) The Queen

Do not read The White Years before reading The Red Years books first, otherwise you will not know who some vital characters are.

The White Years are not 100% prequels—they continue the story line after the end of The Mistress.

Tiffany’s latest installment to the Original Sinners Series The Confessions is now available.

*The novellas and free short stories can be read in any order but they do contain spoilers. I would suggest reading all the big books first in their proper order.

I live for Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners Series. I’ve read and re-read every book of her’s available. One of Reisz’s characters that has perplexed me from the beginning is Nora (aka Eleanor, Little One, and Elle). She can be so harsh (as a Mistress) and yet so sweet (as a submissive/room-mate) at the same time. So I concocted a drink that suits her.

Nora, this drink’s for you!

 Ingredients:

  • 1 pint of strawberries, stems trimmed and flesh quartered
  • 1 bottle of Pinnacle Whipped Vodka (750 ml). I specify Pinnacle because it’s the best and it’s not expensive
  • 1 large container, big enough to hold the berries and the entire bottle contents

Mixing:

This is the super easy part. First, put all the berries in the jar. Second, add the whipped vodka. Last, screw on the lid and put the jar in the fridge for 48 hours.(Don’t worry. Delayed gratification is highly underrated.)

Drinking:

I don’t normally have a drink till after 5 so that’s usually when I crack into it for the first time. The berries will be sufficiently soaked and delicious. Go easy. They’ll catch up on you!  And the vodka juice is totally mixable but I drink it on the rocks with some freshly crushed basil. It’s mouth watering. Enjoy.

What do I think about Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners Series?
